A highly respected course that has received exceptional praise
from law enforcement officers and administrators all over Texas.
In this course, movement techniques are instructed that will work
in any environment, such as Building Clearing, Hostage Rescue,
Felony Vehicle Stops and more. This three day course provides
in-depth and repetitious training in a "Crawl, Walk, Run"
phases on select elements:
- Team formations and
assignments,
- Contact Team
responsibilities,
- Rescue Team
responsibilities,
- Corner and Intersection
Clearing,
- Interior Movements,
- Exterior Movements,
- Vehicle Assaults,
- Rescue Carries and Drags,
and
- Mechanical Breaching
Techniques
Scenarios are conducted on the
final day, which reinforces the previous training. Civilian role
players are coordinated as Innocents and Suspects.

This three day course is a
modified TCLEOSE 3322 class in which a third day has been added.
Day 1 and Day 2 cover the requirements of TCLEOSE 3322 (Patrol
Rifle).
Day 3 focuses on reinforcing
the training by conducting live-fire scenarios, which involve
Interior and Exterior movement, multiple targets, bounding drills
and shooting from multiple platforms. Training also
includes:
- Transition drills
- Firing at and from inside
vehicles
- Five Elements Training
(Stance, Grip, Low Ready Shooting, Sight Alignment/Sight
Picture and Trigger Control)
- 10 Stage Shooting
Performance Evaluation
- Threshold Assessments
- Room Entries
- Vehicle Bailouts (Left,
Right, Front and Rear)
- Cone Drills
- Barricade Drills

This three day course begins on Day 1 with fine tuned instruction
on the "Five Elements of a Well Aimed Shot", then a series of
shooting drills are conducted which provides the attendee with
information indicating their strong and weak points in tactical
shooting. On Day 2, more in-depth instruction is given on
enhancing their shooting performance in a tactical environment.
Day 3 consists of a series of dry fire and live fire drills that
officers are likely to encounter alone or with a partner. Training
includes:
- Five Elements Training
(Stance, Grip, High Ready Shooting, Sight Alignment/Sight
Picture and Trigger Control)
- 10 Stage Shooting

and weapons safety violations will result in dismissal from

The Advanced Tactical Pistol Course picks up where the Basic
Tactical Pistol leaves off. After a refresher of basic techniques,
attendees are given instruction on live fire vehicle bailouts,
live fire vehicle assaults and multiple target /multiple room
shooting.
