Classroom Training:
Custom training can be done at your agency. If you have more than one
class for In-Service Training (Odessa has approx. 8 - one per month
for eight months). PowerPoint presentations can be completed and
the
class then becomes "yours". Your department needs to furnish the training
facility, audio/visual equipment (LCD projector and screen), print
course workbook and other material, provide course completion certificates
(if applicable); handle any
state process for training credits and the registration of students.
The agency may place as many personnel in the class as
you wish. If you desire, the class may be marketed to outside
agencies. Bringing training classes to your door step for in-service
is the best expenditure of your training dollars because it allows you
to train many more of your personnel at a very reasonable cost.

Tactical
Training:
In Active Shooter and Hostage Rescue training, there is four hours of
classroom on Day One. All other time is spent on techniques at
training locations. For scenarios, civilian role players are preferred
as officer role players tend to fall back on their law enforcement
training. Waivers must be signed by role players. No juvenile role
players are allowed, even if their parents are present and willing to
sign the waive.
